I bring good news. It has started snowing! And it is actually snowing pretty too down here at base --- winter-like!

At last! Fresh snow on the ground. Oh yes, I always love to be able to say that.

The wait for fresh snow continues (and looks likely to for a bit longer).

We're going through a prolonged period with no fresh snow to report.

Lots of cloud around early on but blue sky and sun has been appearing places and it feels like we'll get more of that as the day goes on.

Recently it has been really very cold in a morning - noticeably less so this morning.

It was a cold day yesterday and some fine conditions to be enjoyed, with some snow falling during the day.

The long weekend is over and today we are back to something like normal. Though of course it is still peak season.
