New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 352cm
Posted on Thursday 28th February 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
The wait for fresh snow continues (and looks likely to for a bit longer).
Yesterday was a day of thin cloud, hardly any wind. Fairly mild. Something like that.
This morning there is some light snow falling on the slopes, and some light rain falling in lower base areas. Light - it's not going to pile up and suddenly give us deep powder. It's currently around 1C and might get a little warmer later on so we'll just have to see how it will develop. And I will let you know.
Sunny clearer skies are forecast for tomorrow.
