New snowfall at base 4cm
Snowfall at base this season 385cm

Posted on Monday 18th March 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

More good news this morning with some more fresh snow on the ground.

First up, the headlines from the resorts:

Hakuba Cortina: 8cm (base) - 10cm (top)

Hakuba Happo-one: 5cm (top of Riesen lift)

Hakuba 47: 5-10cm on upper slopes

And a few on the ground for me to measure too. Nice. It looks decent quality too - not sloppy and wet!

It has been a cold start but it will warm up today - early birds will certainly have the best conditions to enjoy this morning.

Fine weather and warmth is forecast over the next few days.
