Snow! What we all love and need. And we have got a decent amount yesterday.

8cm from yesterday and another 2cm this morning down at base, and surely more than that higher up on the mountain.

A cloudy start to the day. There have been signs of a bit of sun early on, but I am hoping that it will be snowing mid to late morning.

It has started to snow this morning and there's some decently sized flakes falling outside my window just now.

Yesterday we enjoyed fresh snow on the ground early morning but mostly clear blue skies during the day with just a few thin clouds in places.

Proper decent heavy snowfall. I am measuring 18cm, but I am guessing there will be more in places (and perhaps less too) as there is a wind blowing it all around.

A layer of fresh on the ground this morning and the promise of more to come today and more so overnight tonight into tomorrow.

It has been great to be on the receiving end of some fresh snowfall, but we still need much more. As, it seems, does lots of Japan.

Just a quick update to keep a record of snow --- 12cm of fresh at base as of this morning which is great to see.

It is snowing as I write my report this morning again and while there's not a whole lot to report just yet, there does look like a decent chance that we will get some through today into tomorrow.

It is snowing quite nicely at the moment and if the forecast comes true we can expect a few days of snow clouds over the mountain.

A few cm of wet and heavy kind of snow this morning with mild temperatures but with the temp likely to rise we are expecting rain.
