A cloudy start to this Monday morning though there are signs that the sun is trying to appear from behind the clouds.

I have 6cm of snowfall to report from base since my last report.

Fine start to the morning with some blue sky and sunshine amongst the remaining cloud.

A little more snowfall down to base since yesterday, but again it's not significant with just a thin covering at base.

There is snow on the ground at base again this morning.

There has been some snow down to base it is nothing significant yet and just a light covering; hopefully a bit more higher up.

Fine weather on this Christmas morning - the sun is out and there's lots of blue skies.

Another thin layer of snow after a cold night. Right now it is just cloudy but limited visibility generally on the mountain.

Poor visibility this morning but that's all good because it is snowing. It might not las long today but there is more snowfall forecast for tonight and then again later in the week.

It turned into snow yesterday and this morning there was a few cm of so of fresh snow down to lower base areas.

A few cm of fresh snowfall on the ground this morning - hopefully more than that up on the top areas.

It is a colder morning and generally cloudy - some very light snow falling.

We got some breaks in the cloud and even some blue sky and sunshine yesterday for the official opening ceremony of Zao Onsen.

I have more snowfall to report. 12cm of it outside base areas.
