Good news.
Snow!
What we all love and need. And we have got a decent amount yesterday.
The resort doesn't shout about these things but hidden away on their site is them saying that the mountain got 10-30cm of fresh snowfall yesterday... with all courses now open. Wind has been blowing it around and I expect there to be varying amounts depending on where you look, but there's a decent increase in snow on the ground at base since my report on Wednesday.
The official snow depth numbers aren't huge (yet) but have been increasing and snow cover is definitely improved.
The mountain is in the best shape of the season so far.
This morning there's cloud around but the sun is breaking through in places too. It is keeping cold.
Nighta in the Yokokura area begins - at last -from tonight and is due to be happening on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday. The Number 1 pair lift will be operating.
