Just a slight bit of snow overnight (after some rain, so rather wet), with Kagura reporting 3cm of fresh snowfall and Maiko reporting 10cm (presumably higher up).

It was raining last night but I'm glad to report that this morning it is snowing again with Kagura resort reporting 20cm of fresh snowfall and Maiko Snow Resort reporting 10cm of fresh.

Maiko Snow Resort opens from this morning and they are operating three quad lifts with the top Okusoeji area open.

It was snowing really heavily at times during the day yesterday and piling up quite quickly. I am measuring 32cm of snowfall since my report yesterday.

First of all, it's snowing and coming in nicely from the north.

Kagura this morning are reporting 10-20cm of fresh snowfall which is good to hear - just a little down here in town and while it hasn't amounted to much on the ground the trees are looking frosted.

It was snowing for most of the day yesterday - light at times, heavier at times - and I have measured an additional 9cm to add to the reports.

Oh yes, is it really great to see snow on the ground and it continuing to fall from the skies.

Kagura are once again reporting -2C and very light snow, and down in town we have wet roads again this morning and it is currently about +4C in town.

Good morning from Yuzawa and the last Yuzawa Now report of the 2017-2018 season.

Yesterday and the day before were both pretty hot - it was almost 30C in Yuzawa on Wednesday!

A fine day yesterday and it is going to be a fine and rather warm day today with temps due to rise to around mid-20s.
