Independent snow and weather reporting from the Yuzawa & Minamiuonuma region of Niigata
New snowfall at base 12cm
Snowfall at base this season 87cm
Posted on Tuesday 18th December 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.
It was raining last night but I'm glad to report that this morning it is snowing again with Kagura resort reporting 20cm of fresh snowfall and Maiko Snow Resort reporting 10cm of fresh. I am measuring 12cm to add to these reports and it is continuing to snow now.
The more the better as it seems we can expect temps to remain on the mild side with the chance of rain looming on the forecasts over the coming days. Just keep cold please! We'll see what happens but for the moment let's just hope for some more decent snowfall over the next 24 hours.
