Good morning from Yuzawa.
And it now feels like winter has properly started. :)
It was snowing really heavily at times during the day yesterday and piling up quite quickly. I am measuring 32cm of snowfall since my report yesterday.
I have decided to try and keep things simple this morning because there are so many details, and will update the report later on with more.
OK so first off Kagura are reporting over 30cm of fresh snowfall. And Kagura is now officially 'fully open' (with a few exceptions!) as the Tashiro Area opens and pretty much all of the terrain is available.
A bunch of other ski resorts are now open in Yuzawa.
At GALA Yuzawa, the Chuo central area is opening this morning with three courses available - Melody, Entertainment and Jiji.
Kandatsu Kogen, Yuzawa Kogen, Yuzawa Park and Joetsu Kokusai are also part open from this morning.
Maiko are still keeping quiet but I would expect them to be opening up from tomorrow (that's simply a guess).
As I said I'll flesh out the information later on.
