It is a good morning here in Shiga Kogen. Not if you want clear and sunny skies.

After the stormy weather, it's sunny this morning and I think it's safe to say it will likely be the best morning of the season so far.

It's another morning where the number is kind of difficult due to wind blown areas and regional variations.

We have another mixed bag of conditions this morning. It is snowing over at Okushiga Kogen. Yakebitaiyama are reporting 5cm of fresh snowfall.

A generally cloudy feel this morning after some light snow earlier on, but clearer in some places and generally now quite bright.

It is very windy this morning. Wind is blowing snow around and affecting a number of lifts - looks like Okushiga Kogen, Yokoteyama and Shibutoge are closed, with some other lifts affected.

The sun is out this morning. The clouds are gone, the winds have disappeared and it's bright and definitely one of those feel good cold mornings.

It's busier than normal for a Monday morning due to the fact that today is a national holiday in Japan.
