Snowfall at base this season 138cm

Good morning from Shiga Kogen.

Yesterday we enjoyed a bit of clearer skies at times but light snow has started to fall. It seems that it is either just cloudy or light snow falling currently in the various corners of the area. Hopefully it will continue for most of the day though we can't be expecting anything significant.

I am a bit confused with the information coming from Kumanoyu - 0cm on their facebook page; 5cm showing on the official site.

Lots of cloud around still, but the forecast is for sunny skies to start tomorrow off and that is the start of the long weekend - Monday is a national holiday.

Almost all courses and connections at Shiga Kogen are now open with just a few exceptions.
