Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
It's busier than normal for a Monday morning due to the fact that today is a national holiday in Japan.
Some decent snowfall for a moment earlier on but it didn't last long and there's just a dusting.
We are told of the chance of light snow through today but it has eased off for now here - though I see light snow actually falling over at Okushiga Kogen right now, with a bit of sunshine too.
If someone can explain this winter season to me, answers on a postcard please!!
Almost all courses and connections at Shiga Kogen are now open with just a few exceptions.
