Snowfall at base this season 201cm

Posted on Tuesday 4th February 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.

Morning!

We have another mixed bag of conditions this morning. It is snowing over at Okushiga Kogen. Yakebitaiyama are reporting 5cm of fresh snowfall.

But it's kind of trying to be sunny over here at Maruike.

So it is difficult to choose just one icon for the report this morning.

Come later tomorrow things should be the same all over the region - potentially moderate to heavy snowfall and cold. Yes!!!!!

Almost all courses and connections at Shiga Kogen are now open with just a few minor exceptions.
