Myoko Now
Myoko Now: Saturday 17th February 2018
Not a lot of snow up to know, but that snow is coming down very nicely. Myoko style (and its been a while since we’ve seen this kind of good, solid snowfall).
Myoko Now: Friday 16th February 2018
One last day of making a highly educated guess here (the flu must not win!) but one aided with at least one ruler-augmented poke in the snow, if not in the formal snow plot.
Myoko Now: Thursday 15th February 2018
Better than the Niigata Prefecture forecast of 2cm for the morning.
Myoko Now: Tuesday 13th February 2018
Suginohara are reporting up to 10cm of fresh snow in the places where there's the most, and Akakura are reporting 3cm of fluffy snow.
Myoko Now: Monday 12th February 2018
Yesterday was one of the most insane weather days I’ve seen.
Myoko Now: Thursday 8th February 2018
Another sunny day, after some nice, if not particularly heavy snowfall through late afternoon and into the night.
Myoko Now: Wednesday 7th February 2018
It is really beautiful out there today, with an almost perfect blue sky to start out the day.
Myoko Now: Tuesday 6th February 2018
Talk about an underwhelming snowfall: maybe 70cm, the TV was saying.
Myoko Now: Monday 5th February 2018
Nice snowfall overnight; once again the official Niigata Prefecture prediction was just about right on the money (forecast of 35cm; actual at base 32cm).
Myoko Now: Tuesday 30th January 2018
Real Myoko snow! More than 50cm on the ground this morning, and the snow keeps on falling,
Myoko Now: Monday 29th January 2018
Needle-like snow falling earlier today, but turning to more Myoko-like big flakes.
Myoko Now: Sunday 28th January 2018
A little break in the snow today, with sun and half-blue skies. Not that much additional snow, but with the cold temperatures it fell as nice big snowflaky flakes.
Myoko Now: Saturday 27th January 2018
Light snow with 22cm on the ground. It is still cold and still snowing, but feels like it is getting brighter.
Myoko Now: Friday 26th January 2018
More snow than expected overnight; it was cold and quiet late last evening, and blowing and snowy early this morning, with 40 cm in a quiet spot and lots of blowing elsewhere.
