It is really beautiful out there today, with an almost perfect blue sky to start out the day. Strong winds on the peaks, though, and a strange pocket of really high winds out there off shore, coming from the southwest.
There’s a dark line of clouds out in that directions well: maybe there will be heavy snow coming from that side again today, rather than the more usual northwest winds that bring us heavy snow.
It’s staying cold out there, too! Looks like we could get snow, maybe even heavy, later in the day.
Lotte Arai now has all the avalanche-controlled areas open.
