Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 11cm
Snowfall at base this season 989cm

Posted on Sunday 28th January 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

A little break in the snow today, with sun and half-blue skies. Not that much additional snow, but with the cold temperatures it fell as nice big snowflaky flakes.

Really nice to be out in. Oh, yeah, it is still cold! Went down to -11°C last night.

Nothing much else to report on this nice weekend day.

The resorts are buzzing along, the parking lots are full.
