Markie 0
Another new 20cm at Kiroro and it still continues to snow there!
Plucky 0
it was flurrying at sea level in Misawa yesterday. It's definately spring, but I'd say there is a month or two left of good riding at some of the higher places. The end of winter here in Japan is a lot different than I'm used to in the western US. Out there most resorts have a base elevation of 4k to 6k feet. Out here, the base elevations are very low. When it gets warm, the snow disappears quickly. I'm looking forward to another month or so at some of the resorts in Iwate and hopefully another 2 months at Hakkoda. I can only do a few runs a day (knee), but just getting up in the mts and away from base is enough for me.
veronica 2
I'm not sure what it's like outside - I've been too busy copying my cds. (Oh ok, I'll shut up about it soon!)
scouser 4
Over 20 in Niigata today?
Markie 0
Just checked out the webcam of Kiroro. Though there's still a very good snow base (nearly 4m), it's obviously very slushy there now from the rain and the warm temps. " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
