nzlegend 1
Osaka city has begun cleaning the Dotonburi river in central Osaka in preparation for the increasingly likely victory celebration of the Hanshin Tigers winning the Japan series When the Tigers last won hundreds of fans dived into the river and last year during the World cup after Japan beat Tunisia I was there and witnessed hundreds diving in in euphoric celebration. The thing is, that river is FILTHY it must be the most polluted river in Japan. So anyway they dredged the river last week and 330 bicycles were pulled out! 330! mind boggling. Here is a link to some photos I took last year off the craziness

Stefan 0
Yeah go Tigers! Saw that on the news last night, the gunk that's in there is enough to put me off! They also pulled out shelves and a variety of other tangled metal cr*p! Wish I'd been there to witness those celebrations though. Can you imagine if they'd won the world cup.
