badmigraine 0
Does anybody have a computer that makes noises like the computers in movies do? That fast incessant keyboard rattle when someone is typing in something. Whenever you hit the "Enter" key, it goes BEEEEEP! How about the whispery clicking sounds that letters make as they appear on the screen, like the sound of a centipede walking across a snare drum? Another movie-type feature I'm still waiting for is full-screen chat with giant fonts. In the middle of putzing around on the Internet, your screen goes black, then giant words appear: "HELLO. I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU..." Who knew there was all this great stuff you could do with computers, but nobody does it except in the movies? Mogski suggested scratch-and-sniff screens for porn sites, and I haven't seen anyone get that one yet either.

mogski 0
The person who writes for this website has some serious issues with Holloywood huh? I equate him to the Spawn of Evil Gold Fish Getting Competition Grandpa fiend. Terrible. I will have to activate parental control software on this site when I have children. Ocean11 0
That one where Michael Douglas got sexually harrassed by Demi Moore had some classics of the type. The email program with the 10 second, full-screen animation of the mail putting itself in an envelope and going off with a whoosh into the ether. The robotic avatars inside the server with the faces of the protagonists - Demi Moore destroying incriminating files like some sort of crazed PacMan. Of course there's the rattle-rattle typing, the beeps, and lots of horizontal green cursors. What a piece of crap that was

OnTheTin 0
I have always been disappointed that my PC does not much such noises. Perhaps there are some addons you can get to make them sound movie-authentic?
