LARD 0
I've still got one. Haven't bought vinyl for ages, but I've got some classic LPs and 12 inchers that I couldn't do without.

Willasprink 0
I just took mine out last weekend actually. I've got too many LPs to dump it. Where do you get the vinyl from Goemon? Somewhere in Japan?
igloo 3
Got one. I love my vinyls.
enderzero 0
Need 2 to have any fun. There are loads of good record stores all over Tokyo. There are a bunch packed together in the back half of Udagawacho in Shibuya. I wish I had turntables in Japan, but they are a little big to haul around. For that matter, so are records, so I don't do too much shopping either.
xxx 2
It's been years since I've had one with me, but I wish I did. Do many records get released on vinyl these days? enderzero - where do you actually live dude?
enderzero 0
hmmmmmm, well that all depends... If "where I live" is where most of my stuff is than I live in a 5'x7' storage space outside of Seattle. If you mean where I sleep then right now that is not-quite-central Tokyo. It seems to change every couple months though.
Thunderbird2 0
I've got a turntable back home (ie not in Japan) and a huge collection of lps from way back. I could never part with all that.
Goemon 0
Willasprink: Yeah, I get it in Japan. Tokyo is a digger's paradise. As ender mentioned, there are tons of shops situated very close together in Shiboooyow! I also had a bunch of vinyl shipped over when I moved here.
scouser 4
How many artists actually release new material on vinyl nowadays?
BagOfCrisps 24
Don't know scouser, I've ot bought vinyl for years and years. I have got my old turntable out though recently and given a few old lps some spins. Brings back lots of memories.
Goemon 0
scouser: lots of artists (most?) release all of their material on vinyl these days. This is especially true for hip hop, reggae & dance music. It's also possible to get alot of tracks on vinyl which are not available on CD.
brit-gob 9
I had no idea the vinyl scene was so alive. I might even look into getting a new turntable, haven't had one for years and years, but got a lot of LPs back home
