mattlucas 0
What's this about anyways? Freaking work is actually demanding some work out of me right now. They want me to dig up shit on bullying, school days, curriculums, evaluations, and other shit in the Canadian School System. I don't want to work.
Fattwins 0
yuki wants to buy skis and the info he wants is too long to enter into phone mail. You saw the maidens eh, how much?
mattlucas 0
They were far to much. Probably 80-100,000 If looking for a super fat I would go with the bigstix here in Japan. I have seen them all over for pretty good prices.
Fattwins 0
Yeah I thought I put it in there about them being pretty cheap but forgot too. The SOS shop in Hakuba had them for 30000. Toque did you buy anything yet. Yuki check the SOS website its not clear but you can contact the stores they do have lots of old gear I figure http://www.full-marks.com/

I am just going through the Shaken thing right now so that is draining my money pretty quick. ****en Shaken. But soon I will be making some big purchases I hope. Fattwins 0
I have gone to a store in monthes cause the kayaking is keeping my eyes on stuff I need for that sport. The internet is my source for a ski fix right now.
Yuki's Passion 1
Thanks so much for the info!!! It was soooooo unfortunate that I couldnt check it yesterday as I had a holiday!!!!!! You belive that shit? Some typhoon that was. My coworker and I went out to the canal and watched people wakeboarding while drinkin beer
Fattwins 0
Yeah I didnt get out untill 3:30, but sitting at home doing nothing or sitting at work doing something, all be it that much isnt that bad. Yuki man you need a vacation from all your vacations. As for B3s or bandits be careful after I looked into it older bandit xxx's are sometimes 85mms in the waist. Im not a big fan of the scratches do to color and tip shape, if you find the older black ones you most go over 185cms to get what you want.
mattlucas 0
The original XXX was the first powder ski I tried as a demo. Not very fat but still pretty big. It was an amazing ski and totally changed my vision of skiing. I could now ski as fast as the pros in the movies without the huge cliffs of course. That was back in 97 I think. So long ago. I'm getting old.
Yuki's Passion 1
Back in 97'?? Damn, I never had the chance to go skiing till I came to Japan Well, better late than never!! Now Im skibaka!
mattlucas 0
Really!!!! Where are you from Yuki? I thought you were American for some reason. I have been skiing since winter 85/86. Next winter will be 20 years
Yuki's Passion 1
Toque, Yup, American but grew up in Hawaii for 7+ years so mainly did summer sports my whole life. Really loved triathlons, soccer, and surfing. We use to cut school to go surf about once/week. Take our boards on the bus and we were set!! After that moved to the south east down in Florida and Georgia. Again, no snow. Never had the chance. Always wanted to but had never done it and knew that it was an expensive sport. I usually wanted to spend my money in other ways... but was always tempted cuz of inline skating/hockey. So, nope, only had 4 years, last year only 2xs. So, three years. Spent a season up at Niseko two years ago and skied 90+ dayz!!! Epic skiing up there but I do understand what SJers say about how easy it is compared with places like Hakuba and Myoko Im sure - but have no experience at those places so only goin by hearsay. Skiing, for me, is the best sport Ive done and there are not a lot I havent done. Surfing too but Ive been spoiled living in Hawaii. No place Ive been since has had nearly the same shape, power, tube, ride, smoothness, clearness, etc that can be found there. I luv the ocean too. Maybe its cuz my Chinese zodiac is Scorpio, a water sign??
Fattwins 0
A bit busy today sorry. Yuki you will understand the difference when we hit it up this year.
Fattwins 0
i think I can score you a pair of used volkls 190 95mm waist for 200 or 300 bucks if you can get a friend to carry them over then you dont have to pay the shipping. If you have to pay the shipping its only worth it if you pay 200 bones for the skis cause your looking at a 150 to 200 dollar shipping fee. ill forward the pics of the skis when I get them. Also the guy has a pair of big daddies for 400 big ski 110 waist+ and 193cms ski goes for 8man here without the bindings.
Yuki's Passion 1
No worries mate. Id like something bigger than my 118-88-108 (or something like that) AK Launchers. Budget, well, just haveta see. Cant say Im that worried about it but would like to be under 10man for skis/bindings.
mattlucas 0
I certainly hope you can keep the price below 100,000 A good way to keep costs down when buying new skis is to ask if they have any used bindings laying around. I picked up a really good pair of Marker Demos for 10,000.
Fattwins 0
So yuki do you want me to ask the guy about the skis. explosives are explosive search the net on them Volkl Explosives. Danz used them last year and I got a go on the 180s freaking blast of a ski they motor trough anything soft.
Yuki's Passion 1
Ya Toque 10Man is really expensive but through my arubaito that money can be used for anything - wouldnt use my salary like that mate. Hell no I picked up my launchers for like 300.00USD and then my Rossi 140 free rides bindings were like 2Man I think up at Taguchi (sports store in Kuchan ya). Explosives are 300 USD plus shipping eh? I could probably get my mate to bring em back from the States and save me the shippin. Hes always got business trips there... will email both of them and see whats up. Forget working out, I think everbody should just X-train!!
Fattwins 0
Id buy those black ones if he still has them or shot for the big daddies ill link a pick up on the other thread for 400 US you get a serious fast powder ski. specs 133 107 123 at 193 tall its a mean ski. http://www.geardirect.com/product_detail...574408820040609 Volkls are 120-95-112 at 190 big ski as well
mattlucas 0
Get the big daddies. It looks like an amazing ski. With that thing you will be a rockstar. Might be difficult in the tighter trees but on open faces it will fly.
Yuki's Passion 1
Toque, thats exactly why I want one more set of skis. Something for big open lines.
