slow 0
Tokyo is not getting better at all but worse. It was good that there was no threat to his life but people working in public places have to work at risk of their lives. What a risky city. Quote: Subway worker shot at Shibuya Station; assailant escapes Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 11:28 JST TOKYO — A subway station employee was shot in the abdomen and seriously wounded by a man at Tokyo's Shibuya Station during Wednesday's morning rush hour, the police said. Shigeo Nishioka, 32, remains conscious and the injuries to the right-hand side of his abdomen are not life-threatening, the police said. The assailant, who fled the scene, is believed to be in his 50s and about 160 centimeters tall. He wore a white shirt, light brown trousers and sunglasses, according to the police. The police said they believe only one shot was fired. They are searching for the assailant on suspicion of attempted murder. According to Tokyo Metro, the subway operator, Nishioka was on his way back to the station office after completing his overnight shift. His duties on Wednesday morning included manning the platforms and the ticket gates. Nishioka was shot near the No. 9 exit of Shibuya Station, which serves the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and the Tokyu Denentoshi Line run by Tokyu Corp. (Kyodo News)

mattlucas 0
Oh no A gun. Tokyo has gone to hell. I loved the description on the news. 50 year old man 160cm tall wearing shirt and pants. It was pretty pointless. The guy ran past so many people and nobody even got a good look.

stripper on coke 0
just saw the shooter being chased around some neighbourhood by the police and the media. Ha ha ha, very funny watching this little fat policeman trying to climb over a fence about 1 metre high - he couldn't do it....... By the looks of things on tv, the police had him trapped in a front yard of a house, but they wouldn't go get him. Maybe non of them could get over the fence...... Oooopps, made a mistake there.....just saw the eigo news (hardly a 'news' program, but we'll that alone......), the dude the police were chasing were some pick pocket gang or something, I think they set of a smoke bomb in a train station for something along those lines. Still, the police were hilarious trying to climb over gates and fences...ha ha Wow, hu, a gang of pick pockets operating at a train station......

oo 1
No need to worry about guns at all, apparently, slow. 1 is much less ineffective than many. The bullets go slower, or are made of sponge, or something.
