scouser 4 Posted August 21, 2004 Share Posted August 21, 2004 If you didn't know Liverpool has won the 2008 European Capital of Culture Award and theres lots of things going on in the city at the moment. The famous Three Graces waterfront has just got a World Heritage status and they were thinking of putting up a "Fourth Grace", but have just abandoned plans because of costs (supposedly). I think the reason is more "because the architects are nuts".
