joshnii 2
I was in the Naeba area yesterday and today and went up the Dragondola. Nice timing, good colors up there right now. They even had a small pile of snow up top
grungy-gonads 54
I'm sure its very nice and you had a good time. But. I think that Dragondola is basically a huge waste of massive amounts of money, I'd love to know how that got the go-ahead considering when it was built (recently). The 15 min journey to join Naeba and Tashiro just seems pretty pointless, at least not valid enough to make the thing.
Fattwins 0
Sounds like a bubble build. Maybe built more for summer too.
joshnii 2
If I'm right, they only run it for limited times during summer and fall, and it was only built about 2 years ago.
rach 1
Thats supposed to be the longest in the world if I remember correctly.
scouser 4
Thats what I remember hearing. You can spend the whole day just getting from Mitsumata to Naeba. If you park at one end and want to go right over to the other and back, once youve had a break for lunch there's almost no time to just enjoy - you're always "on the way". Thats how I felt the day we did it anyway. I think I'd just rather enjoy myself in one area for the day than have to keep track of time . Wasn't one of the reasons to get more people who wanted to ride over at Kagura to stay at the Naeba Prince hotel, lovely place it isn't.

grungy-gonads 54
It does take up so much time doing all that. Best to decide to either stay Mitsumata/Kagura, Tashiro/Kagura or Naeba on it's own (weekdays only mind)
