CheeseRipper 0
As you all know there are many choices for head cams. Does anyone have any advice on which brand to buy?

montoya 0
Only maker I have heard of is here http://www.sportzshot.com/ (they only sell on-line though) Might be shops in Akihabara carrying head-cams, but haven't really looked for 'em. Btw, how far away are you guys in Misawa from Hakkoda?
marnix 0
also have a look at: www.helmetcamera.com All these guys do is take a regular mini-cam, make some mount fo rit to attach to a helmet of goggle strap and sell this with a nice markup. If you only want a mini-cam check out Akihabara. You could make you own mount (be creative) Make sure you have a camcorder that has a AV-in line or an Archos AV320 / AV420
BagOfCrisps 24
Yes cheesripper tell us more. I have never seen any in the shops (not that I've been actively looking) but I'd be real interested in getting something before our winter travels begin. Helmet shot vid would be very cool

Gozsee 0
Check ebay.com on "helmet camera" and you will find some camkits. Below some links about how to set-up a helmet camera http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/helmet-cam-connection.htm http://www.mountainbikebill.com/HowtoVideo.htm
