ProbablyaCrazyPerson 2
When you write an important email, there's that exclamation mark that can flag it up as urgent to whoever you send it to. But what about the opposite icon the blue arrow pointing down meaning "not important". Does anyone ever, in the world, at any time, actually use that? I just wonder why it exists. big-will 7
I've often wondered that. It seems pretty useless, can't imagine using it.
gamera 0
Neither do I. Maybe just for the case for people to send some trivial e-mails?
big-will 7
Yeah but even if you send a trivial email you don't click on that, do you? It just seems completely useless and I'm interested to know if anyone has ever used it.
gamera 0
No,I've never done that yet, Bigwill. But that's why e-mails with a blue down icon may be outstanding and can get attention which may be the purpose?
veronica 2
I'd never noticed it! Haha. That means I've never been sent on using that either probably. It sounds useless to me.
mfurmane 0
I got an email from a friend last week that had a blue arrow next to it. I thought for ten minutes "what the heck is that for?"
amandanism 0
im with veronica on this one. never noticed it!
jstepp 0
That is used a lot here at work because email is the primary line of official communication so it lets us know that we can check it later and focus on other tasks at hand for the time being. It works for us, I usually ignore those emails until I am at stopping point with my other work.
scouser 4
So someone does use it!
