The way things are going I fear we may be 'enjoying' the icy top runs of Happo then, and not much else. Naturally though, I very much hope I'm being overly pessimistic... If you love skiing or boarding enough, you certainly wouldn't find Hakuba - certainly as it is now - any kind of disappointment at all Link to post Share on other sites

This season is way below any other season many people have ever experienced here - including many of my Japanese friends - it seems impossible to avoid that and saying otherwises feels like people having motive to convince people otherwise. It will also depend on the area. Hakuba may be fairly ok right now, but some places are embarrassingly bad at the moment. Link to post Share on other sites
