Is your sister coming with you? What's she look like?

(Ok, more seriously, you should consider Hakuba as crew from this forum are having a big party around then... I think. And good job with the Japanese)

nearly everyone who regularly posts here.

"winter break"--national holidays in japan are from 12/29-1/3 ("Oshogatsu" in japanese) followed by a three-day weekend, so a lot people will be taking the 4th and 5th off to ski/ snowboard until the 8th. and prolly the 25,26, and 27 off too.

hope you enjoy japan

just random in many cases gam! You have a bit of poetic licence when it comes to some of the non-usual ones.

you can add:

-ian

-ite

-er

maybe others too

It kind of depends on how it sounds rather than a rule. Some just don't sound right.

No rules at all? OMG eek.gif Thanks Bushpig.

Sounds like a place hooligans really love. \:D

Maybe for major places e.g. capitals in each and every country, people know the correct words for it but if it's a small place like mine Hakuba,

Hakubaite

Hakubaian

Hakuber

or maybe just "Hakuba people" ?

And if different people use different words, no confusion?

Hakubian could work too.
Hakubite sounds like a flakey talc like rock
Hakubian sounds like a tribe of American Indians

How about Hakubatonians?
