montoya 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Share Posted January 14, 2005 ok it's friday, have too much work to do, so naturally procrastinate and talk smack with a coworker. here's our take on Lord of the Rings as applied to snow-sports. modify as you see fit. lothlarion elves: telemark. elegant and able to go anywhere rivendell elves: AT skiiers hobbits: shortskiers rohan: splitboarders. able to travel long distance. gondor: regular boarders and skiiers wizards: god-like mentors dwarves: snowshoe mode ent: forest uruk-hai: boarders doing tricks in front of you and falling orcs: beginning boarders. almost as bad as uruk-hai nazgul: tree well sauron: avalanche Link to post Share on other sites

Sauron = the manager of Kagura that closes the lifts so that no one can get into the BC.
