mattlucas 0 Posted November 28, 2005 Author Share Posted November 28, 2005 We were behind the big hotel which blocked most of the wind. The vestibule was flapping a bit but nothing to loud. The worst part was that snow was accumulating all around the tent pushing Dan into me and almost pushing me into the the big hole I dug right outside the door. Link to post Share on other sites

It's pretty flat there and there isn't anything for reference I'm so glad we didn't have to camp down low in the tent area. That walk would have been horrible in the morning along the narrow ridges with the wind and blowing snow Link to post Share on other sites

SerreChe 2 Posted December 1, 2005 Share Posted December 1, 2005 I think balaclavas are better than Toques. Really good protection when you're getting face-shot after face-shot. The flaps of the Toques near the cheeks tend to get covered in ice/snow from what I saw. Are you gonna change your name to Balaclava? Link to post Share on other sites
