sava 0
For those of you who don't skin, what pack do you use to hold your skis? Cheers
Yuki's Passion 1
Sava, I got a SOS avie kit which includes their BC bag. Skis fit on the sides of the bag and make kinda an upside down V shape; put a little tape at the tips to keep em from moving around.

mattlucas 0
I have a marmot bag. When I walk A-Frame style on flat or slightly angled terrain it's fine. When I'm climbing up the steep stuff wearing my helmet I can't look up without hitting my head on the skis. Gets annoying. I would like to try the diagonal system although with a heavy bulky load I'd think it would put the weight to far back.
sava 0
toque: i was thinking the same thing, but i don't know
Fattwins 0
Toque I find that that diagonal system doesnt load the back up that bad. I find it so easy whenI use my resort pack.
jared 0
I have and love a dakine hellipro - there is a larger version available now to. My old salomon bag done the upside down V thing and it wasnt so good - I love the diagonol system. Much faster and easier to use and the tails dont bump your legs and the tips dont bump the back of your head. They are on the page fattwins linked to.
