It's just my opinion, but for me Tsugaike is the one with the mysterious popularity. Flat run-ups to the lifts, little challenging terrain with no steeps, small 500yen car park. Fine if you're a beginner, but....

great views, not so busy, people just doing their own thing at their own pace. hard to explain, but I think those who go there know what I mean. Aokiko has a great little italian (a REAL restaurant) just off the resort at lakeside.

 

p.s. what's with the rolly eyes? confused.gif
