not good snow day, and on the lifts my freinds said they dont worry about "closing the straps" when they store them, but I do...as I was told it was the best way to store them.

Interested to see what everyone else does.

Yep, agreed - dismantle 'em and leave out for a coupla weeks to dry, then reassemble, do up straps and put away out of light. If you live in a humid enviro, use some of those silica gel sachets to absorb moisture (stops mildew). (My inners are injected type with leather outsides - so use a liberal amount of shoe polish to keep 'em soft before storage.)
