gerard 6
Sugihohara Akakan Madarao Nozawa Tenjindaira Cortina Kagura Niseko Which trees take longer to get skied out? (and by "trees", lets say good lift-served slackcountry, short hike or traverse OK but no skins needed.)
SKI 15
Tenjin You should add Mt Granview to the list, surely.
gerard 6
Surely, Mt Granview is skied out by ten AM, no?
grungy-gonads 54
Sounds way too late that. Got to get up early. From what I've heard anyway.
Tubby Beaver 209
You should add Rusutsu to the list
Bushiman 6
I can only speak for Cortina, Nozawa, Suginohara, Niseko & Tangram (resort joined to Madarao) -If you know the resorts, like really know them, the surrounding terrain and how far you can venture out and still get back, you can find untouched nuggets all day... Except for maybe Cortina these days on a pow weekend!
Tubby Beaver 209
I doubt you could say that for Niseko yesterday.......of course it wasn't a pow day
Chriselle 158
I just spent pretty much the entire weekend in the trees at Suginohara and fresh lines were plentiful. Granted it wasn't so busy with the highways closed this weekend.
gerard 6
Well, I'm heading out now and my money is on Noz. Wanted to check out Madarao too but we got shorted out one day so probably spend the whole time at the Nozzle.
Gunma Boarder 14
Even on a busy weekend I still can find plenty of untracked lines at Kawaba. I know that wasn't in your list but I would say Kagura and Madarao track out much faster. Never had problems at Tenjin either and haven't been to any of the others yet except Nozawa in spring which made it hard to judge.
boardbaka 3
TENJIN !

NoFakie 45
Quality vs. quantity is a big issue here, and lift-served can mean one lift and lappable, or some combination of five lifts and beginner runs and traverses that takes up to an hour total to get you repositioned for that 300-400 vert of glory. If the quality is high enough though, people will still say the latter is amazing.
Tubby Beaver 209
Teine's trees were giving semi fresh lines today......the quality of the snow was great all day
