muikabochi 208
As I was at Iwappara and Yuzawa Kogen today, I realised just how many skijo you can see in the area. Thought it might be a good idea for a thread - photos of skijo taken from other skijo. Well I find it interesting anyway! SJ-David kindly added a new public gallery on the Forums, so anyone can add photos to it. When you upload photo via the Forums ('Gallery' link top right), just choose 'From one skijo to another' as the gallery. Simples! Feel free to add photos if you like. Anyway, here's some from today: GALA Yuzawa from Yuzawa Kogen Kandatsu Kogen (closed this year) from Iwappara Kagura (Mitsumata on left, main runs on right) from Iwappara NASPA Ski Garden from Iwappara Ludens Yuzawa from Iwappara Yuzawa Nakazato from Iwappara Yuzawa Park from Iwappara Muikamachi Hakkaisan from Iwappara Kagura from Iwappara (left side of photo) Kayama Captain Coast (closed) from Iwappara Kagura (Mitsumata) from Yuzawa Kogen Kagura (main run) from Yuzawa Kogen Iwappara from Yuzawa Kogen Yuzawa Nakazato from Yuzawa Kogen Yuzawa Park from Yuzawa Kogen Muikamachi Hakkaisan from Yuzawa Kogen Kandatsu Kogen (closed this year) from Yuzawa Kogen
sanjo 2
Interesting for sure, esp. the Kagura ones.
hellyer 216
Nice thread Muika, I must get to that area one day. BTW - are not pics 2 and 3 identical?
Metabo Oyaji 71
Some of those look much more 3-dimensional than I have ever seen before. Like the Kandatsu-from-Iwappara one. NASPA looks gnarlier than I had imagined, too.

Metabo Oyaji 71
I don't have any that nice, but here are a couple from years past. Gunma Boarder 14
Myoko Suginohara, Ikenotaira Onsen and Akakura Onsen from Madarao. There probably are more.
Metabo Oyaji 71
That foreground run looks really inviting. くぐりたい。 So easy it feels like cheating, and perhaps out on a technicality, but Asagai in the center distance, and ??? in the left foreground, as seen from Naeba:
Gunma Boarder 14
There are a lot in this one. I'm also kind of guessing on a few In the foreground Yomase Onsen on the left and X-Jam on the right. Behind that Madarao. Even farther back a bunch of the Myoko skijos and I think Kurohime Kogen Snow Park on the left. All from Ryuoo.

Gunma Boarder 14
Pallcall Tsumagoi from Kawaba at extreme zoom. If you see it from Kawaba the weather was probably pretty good.
Gunma Boarder 14
One from a few years back....... Tanigawa Tenjindaira from Kawaba I love this photo! Did you take it from the cleverly named number 1 course or from one of the lifts (maybe the A lift)?
muikabochi 208
I really can't remember Gunma Boarder. It may even have been taken by accident without me knowing about Tenjindaira. One of the reasons I want to go back to Kawaba is to try and recreate this with my current camera.
