634-maru 4
Just a few more days at Kagura now. Almost forgot. Almost tempted!
best skier in hakuba 5
Kagura really do well keeping the snow around up there.
muikabochi 208
Surprised they didn't extend it so they could say they got into June!
Saitaman 1
I thought the Dragondola was a real bore actually. It doesn't really go 'up' much at all, it's more just like a transport from A to B and one that eats into a day. If I were there for a few days, I'd spend the day either at Naeba or Kagura. Suppose it might be pretty in autumn.
muikabochi 208
It is quite pretty, but definitely loses if you compare with nearby Tenjindaira for example.
charlotte 0
Question about the Dragondola - does it get really busy or more like a walk-on? Presumably weekends are much busier than weekdays, but how bad does it get?
muikabochi 208
I haven't been to Naeba or Tashiro on a weekend for years (and don't want to!) Though I doubt the Dragondola is the biggest bottleneck. I would imagine that even at busy times they would move through fairly quickly. I'd advise to stick to one place on a day though unless you really do only have one day and want to try them all. 634-maru 4
It gets busy as you might expect. But there are worse places to be (like the main Gondolas at Naeba or the main quad at Kagura on a peak day).
