surfarthur 22
they look awesome - you sure aren't kidding about being expensive though
pie-eater 207
I would love to hear the sound of mega-expensive gear. I'm sure it's fantastic, just can't imagine to what extent. All incremental when you get bit huge numbers I'm sure, but very satisfying.
pie-eater 207
Here's a question. If I wanted a longer cable, what do I do? Any extension of (within reason) or does sound degrade? If that makes sense.
griller 9
Me too, my CD player sounds pretty great and it's not that expensive. a few man.
teikiatsulover 6
Does anybody use Bluetooth headphones? What do you think of them? Does the sound cut in and out? Not as crisp as standard headphones? I'm looking at some Sennheiser and Beats by Dre which are Bluetooth, but haven't ever tried a pair and don't have any friends who have any either, so I'd love to hear some feedback! I will be using them in the office for what it's worth.
634-maru 4
I did consider Bluetooth, wireless and surround etc. But always came back to the fact that it will be almost exclusively cd music and sometimes movies. Always at home. With audio quality being the biggest wish. That's how I ended up with those Sennheisers.

I'll be using them at work with my computer sometimes, but typically with my iPod, so not having a cable would be nice but not an absolute necessity. Looked at the HD 700 wow that's a hefty price tag! They look pretty sweet so how about sending them here for a week so I can try em out I'll send a sixer back with em! 634-maru 4
Was just looking at the manual. This made me laugh: "Do not store your headphones on a glass dummy head." OK, will have to change my plans there!
BagOfCrisps 24
I suppose lots of people have glass dummy heads.
Tubby Beaver 209
I wonder why not?! And how did they find out that glass dummy heads were 駄目?
Curt 1
Prevent the springs or whatever they are called from wearing out? Best to keep them not stretched. Quite why they said glass dummy head though?
