Metabo Oyaji 71
In a theme with recent threads, Inawashiro Resort ski area is now under new ownership, and has been renamed Grand Sunpia Inawashiro Resort. Kind of going the reverse direction as Maiko in terms of name length and complication. Should at least be less confusion with Inawashiro ski area, I suppose.
muikabochi 208
Cool name. As you said though makes the names a bit more distinct.
sanjo 2
Are those two connected and/or 'friends'? Which is better?
Metabo Oyaji 71
No connection between the two. Inawashiro was bought last year by Macearth, the same company behind Mt. Kosha, Mt. Norikura, and now Onze up in Hokkaido, among other places. So both places have recently changed hands, but to different owners. Never been to Inawashiro Resort, but it is smaller than Inawashiro. Though I gather Inawashiro Resort may have the best views of the lake.
Slippery Jim 65
Yes, less interesting than Inawashiro but the views are very nice.
NoFakie 45
Inawashiro was bought last year by Macearth In Japanese, that will be pronounced as "MacArse". I would have thought McDonalds or Apple would have the copyright on that one!
