Places to stay and party in Hakuba

I will be in Hakuba from Tuesday, March 8th until the 12th.

 

Any recommendations for places to stay and party at night.

if your looking to do it backpacker style - speak to Mitch at Snowbeds. He is a top bloke, and theres always a really good crew staying there.

Snowbeds, we saw it and heard good things but you might have more to spend and want to stay in more luxury. Loads of places. As for the party.... we soon found places when we were there, easy when your there.

snobed or alps bp

are pretty cheap.

Pensions are about the same.

alps has a big bar but hard access other than goryu

 

snobeds no bar now but easier access to more places.

I stayed at Mitch's (snowbeds) place for about 2 weeks over the winter holidays and had a blast. Some nice people came through and it was a really chilled place to stay. I thought the location, or at least the bus access to all mountains, was ideal. Had a good time chillin in the livin room with everybody. Id stay there again.

the travellers nest is great - stay there pretty much everytime we head up. only been on w/ends so not sure about how lively it is in the week. they hav bar downstairs and its close to goryu (?!)

snowbeds is also a sweet place to stay and defo handy for happo.

Fattwins, the hardest stuff would be a couple of goes under the gunbarrel chair in thredbo... not because it was difficult but because it was ugly rocky terrain. Now I'm looking to see some trees, but this time with snow underfoot.

Thanks for your responses. I am sure it will be a fun few days. Looking forward to some adventurous tree runs with no crowds.
