peterson 0
Recently at the bottom corner of my computer LCD screen there's some black marks - seem to be getting bigger. I can't recall every hitting it there or anything... just a sign of it being on it's last legs perhaps?
klingon 10
Quite common, it might get worse so you'll just have to get a new one if it becomes unusable. New ones are quite cheap now.
klingon 10
You can get a BIGGER one too!
muikabochi 208
I know one old guy who has this going on and it's actually quite bad. He has to scroll documents to "avoid" the fairly big area on his screen that is not working. I suggested to him perhaps he should get a new one as it isn't really ideal like that, but he scoffed away in a typical grumpy old git kind of way. Quite funny.
peterson 0
Thanks. Actually it has got worse since this morning. An area about 5cmx5cm now on the edge. Looks like I will be needing to buy a new one.
RobBright 35
Graphics card? Monitor problems? Can you test the pc on a different monitor with different cables?

A lawyer 0
Interested in this because I have one that has recently done that, but it seems to have stopped expanding now and not got worse. How has yours changed peterson? Got worse?
peterson 0
Like you, seems to have stopped. I can live with it as it is I suppose. It's my 'second screen'.

peterson 0
OK turned out good as I found a very nice new very large screen last weekend. Not expensive either. Looks great. All that screen space!
