You have to make the fun.
I know there are responsibilities and un-fun aspects of being grown ups with mortgages and kids and jobs ---> but it shouldn't all be blah.

The snowboarding is part of that equation for us. The family that boards together laughs together and all that.

Marriage guidance?

I say it is no fun but it is stability. And that is what a child needs. Perhaps.

They definitely need stability, yes.

But you don't want to lose the joy out of your life - it is too f*#king short for that!

Must admit we were a fair bit more boring when the kids were little.

But as they grow you can add back in the adventurous stuff.

Be spontaneous - laugh.

I think this fits nicely in this thread

WIFE:

What would you do if I died? Would you get married again?

HUSBAND:

Definitely not!

WIFE:

Why not - don't you like being married?

HUSBAND:

Of course I do.

WIFE:

Then why wouldn't you remarry?

HUSBAND:

Okay, I'd get married again.

WIFE:

You would? (With a hurtful look on her face).

HUSBAND:

(Makes audible groan).

WIFE:

Would you live in our house?

HUSBAND:

Sure, it's a great house.

WIFE:

Would you sleep with her in our bed?

HUSBAND:

Where else would we sleep?

WIFE:

Would you let her drive my car?

HUSBAND:

Probably, it is almost new.

WIFE:

Would you replace my pictures with hers?

HUSBAND:

That would seem like the proper thing to do.

WIFE:

Would she use my golf clubs?

HUSBAND:

No, she's left-handed.

WIFE:

(Silence)

HUSBAND:

F*ck...
