1 4
OK so I got a towel as a present. It's a Givenchy designer one. Cost a bit apparently. Er why do people buy "designer towels"?!

HelperElfMissy 42
You sure it wasn't a free gift with cologne purchase? I bought some Country Road beach/pool towels once? Does that count? They have been the BEST towels - huge, thick, soft and hardwearing. But the freebie COKE towels that came free with the box of coke cans are still the ones chosen by the kids for taking to school, they roll up small because they are so thin. thursday 1
Haut Couture is just bullshit for losers with such a low self esteem that they have to turn to Vogue.
Mantas 3
I was talking about the gullible twits that buy a Louis Verton hand bag, for no other reason than people say that they're the bee's knees or a tee shirt that is 10 time the price of another tee shirt just because it has the word GAP printed on it. NoFakie 45
There's a lot of this kind of stuff in Japan, but most of it is just branding though, isn't it? Stuff is branded but its not really "designer". I wouldn't be surprised in the same company makes dozens of different licensed-name towels. The "designer" who did your Givenchy towel has probably also done Hello Kitty and Anpanman and Morning Musume, and the Hanshin Tigers. Any sh!t people will buy!
