HelperElfMissy 42
Takes more than two cups of coffee if you are a hard core coffee drinker! I have two cups of coffee most mornings at the moment. [i should really switch to green tea again I think]. This morning for me was a bit naughty... A home made Creme Caramel ... made them yesterday and just had to sample. Not too bad. Quite delicious actually.
Thundercat 60
Why green tea? There is loads of caffine in that too! If I drink the green tea they make in our office I'm buzzing just as bad as if I drank coffee...

Why switch - isn't it supposed to be better for you than coffee?

Thundercat 60
All of the (un)scientific studies I've conducted over the years leads to believe that there isn't much of a difference between the two as far as caffine is concerned... maybe you just need to make weaker coffee? In Shizuoka we produce more green tea than any other region of Japan so I imagine most people around here will tell you it's better... My favourite way to drink green tea is called 'Ashitaka-wari'... strong green tea mixed with shochu! It's kind of a local specialty!
HelperElfMissy 42
Yeah BM my coffee is kinda strong. I have a machine something like this in my kitchen Not the same brand, but very similar. Makes a strong coffee. Grind my own beans (Vittoria Oro) just before making too. Obsessive about my coffee much?
Thundercat 60
LOL! I have a similar set up and also grind my own beans... can't get enough coffee in the morning! Winter days I usually drink at least a pot to myself each morning...
kintaro 0
1 banana, 1 nectarine, a little oatmeal, a little fresh ginger, 1 scoop whey protein (vanilla), and about 8 ounces carrot juice blended. Delicious!
