Went on the cheap bus and ride package from Tokyo. Was on the mountain by 11:15 and had the last run at about 4:15 (lifts closed at 4:30).

It snowed heavily all day, which although gave me cold toes by the end of the day, ment lovely fresh snow all day.

Tokura has 7 double chairs, the longer ones all being express.

Unfortunately they had GS and Slalom race training (see photo) during the afternoon which took up a half of 2 good runs.

The mountain has some good variation with some good features in the park. It was a little smaller than what I've become used to (White World). But as I spent the day between working on technique and riding the fresh snow ,it was all good.

Thanks for sharing. Never been there.

I do like Gunma for day trips as it's relatively close to Tokyo , but I do enjoy other places,
am going to Hakuba for 4 days from next Tuesday smile
