Just got back from a so-so satisfying Hokkaido tour and the wife gave me the thumbs up go ahead for a solo trip. My regular place to stay is booked up so I will be going on the cheap....hostel like cheap...which will be a first. What do you Hakuba guys think? Weather forecasts??...Massive crowd forecasts?? tripitaka 0 Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 I was in Hakuba over New Year and it didn't seem to be too hard to avoid the crowds if you keep away from the main runs. Also, I found that the heavier weather scares off many people, so it could be the best time to be up there! Link to post Share on other sites
