Bowler 0 Posted May 1, 2003 Share Posted May 1, 2003 Well, it’s not in Nagano or Niigata but if you’re looking for snow I hear that Gassan in Yamagata prefecture is open till August! Apparently, the season doesn’t start until April due to the fact that there’s too much snow up top. Anyone been there before or know owt about it and is anyone gonna go and keep the season alive? barok 0 Posted May 1, 2003 Share Posted May 1, 2003 just spent 3 days at H47 - they are open till the 5th, sunny weather, plenty of slush, and dirt gaps with dane - lots of fun. build your own jumps though as the resort jumps are no good. i also tried to go to arai, they are open until the 11th, but they were closed when i went there due to high winds - call before you go. good luck Link to post Share on other sites
