thursday 1
don't suppose the vaccuum cleaner would be very good.
foreversnow 5
The dust is like a very fine talcum powder. It has infiltrated every cupboard in the house. I have had to do every thing at least 3 times to get rid of it. Then you move something else and find more DUST!! They are telling everyone to clean their air filters your cars as they will be clogged as well.
HelperElfMissy 42
Dust is like that isnt it - gets in behind everything. I am finding all my cupboards are needing cleaning through as well.
thursday 1
I still reckon the vaccuum will not do it. It's blow straight through the bag. Unless you have a bagless vaccuum cleaner like a Dyson of Dock Green
HelperElfMissy 42
True Thursday - that fine particle dust is a nightmare for regular vacuum's. That why I have floorboards/tiles throughout and use Enjo
JA2340 16
And, just when you thought it was safe to go back outside ... Another day of high winds and "raised dust" in the Eastern states. Nowhere as bad (the dust, that is) as last Wednesday, but a bloody crap day to be outside!

foreversnow 5
Crap here as well!! Added to the drama of another dust storm there was a bush fire in the forest behind us so with smoke & dust there was definately no venturing outside. Starting to clear up a little now. Mantas 3
I met some country boys from way out west at a wedding in Sydney this weekend. They were yawning about the whole dust storm drama. "Big deal, get over it." they said. No photos but check out this vid.

seemore 66
The Plot Thickens Dust storm meant to have originated from Olympic Dams Uranium Mine in SA. I hope there are no adverse growths to those in the eastern seaboard. We have already heard about a 2 headed frilled neck lizard running amok around Nimbin. Seemore
