muikabochi 208
The default for me is the 18-200 as well, though my wide lenses are definitely sharper.

thursday 1
that's the 2.8 top of the range nano coated series. 2.8 for the full range with VR. Dark skies and falling snow makes it quite dark. This baby would be good for low light situations.

I'd like to pick up another lense myself, especially that 70-200 but its like ¥23万!!! Thats crazy! (I know I say that every time) I think I'd rather upgrade to a D700 first and continue using the current lense. I realize I've outgrown the D80 and want one that has 7 fps rather than my 3 fps. thursday 1
You are talking about upgrading from DX to FX. Your DX lenses will have to be ditched. They will work with FX, but they'll have a huge black border on the sides. The 70-200 is for mega pros like me with my D700. Capish?
Yuki's Passion 1
Oops, meant to type D300 - the D700 is outta meh range! Dont wanna spend 20Man on a camera body. Think the D300 is 5 fps but better than 3.
