Guinness has been dispensed in hospitals, correct?

Yes. In England, post-operative patients used to be given Guinness, as were blood donors. Sadly, this is no longer the case in England. In Ireland, Guinness is still made available to blood donors and stomach and intestinal post-operative patients. Guinness is known to be high in iron content.

time to give some blood!

There's Kirin "Stout" - it is hardly in the same league as Guinness. I've only seen it bottled, but it might possibly be acceptable as a draught. I ordered it once because the waiter said it was "nama", but, alas, it wasn't. I was disappointed to say the least.

I don't know.....do you? wink

Never been to Sendai. Gonna have a week off the sauce I reckon, been drinking quite a bit recently (as my mate returned) and the body is giving me all sorts of cues to stop.
