As the days grow longer, the temperatures rise, and the snow level begins decreasing, it may feel as if spring is in the air. But despite this feeling, rest assured, there is still plenty of snow to be had.

Destination: Mt Amakazari - in Nagano Prefecture

^^^ It's just a bit outside of the Hakuba area, a little to the northeast. It's in Otari-mura, and the trailhead is about 8 km off of Rt. 148. Pretty easy to find, and pretty popular too - saw about 20 other skiiers/boarders out there that day.
